Finding God at MIT + Chick-Fil-A  (Our Main Event)

Following Jesus in college can be challenging, but also amazing. Enjoy a great night of worship with the Cru band, an inspiring message, student stories, meeting new friends, good food (Chick-fil-A). We’ll have some awesome giveaways too. Come meet Cru and see how it’s possible to thrive in your relationship with God at college. Dinner at 7pm. Program starts around 7:20pm.

 

 

Cru - Meet and Greet

Thursday, April 11th - 10am-3pm, Outside the Student Center - look for the Cru table

We will be passing out free bottles of water and greeting people as they arrive for CPW. Come by the table and say hi and learn a little about Cru and Christian life at MIT.

Pizza, BOBA, and jesus

Thursday, April 11th, 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Building W11, Main Dining Room (right across from Maseeh Dorm).

Come grab a bite to eat on your first day of CPW and meet some students and staff with Cru. We’ll have some tasty pizza, Boba, and great conversation. Come for some casual conversation and learn about Christian life at MIT. You’ll hear stories from current students and just have time to interact with other pre-frosh and current students. And if Jesus isn't your thing, you are still welcome to come get some pizza and boba!

Athletes for Christ and Chipotle

Do you love sport? Hoping to play on a team at MIT?  Is God important to you?  Come meet some MIT athletes, and fellow prefrosh, for a chill time to talk about athletic life at MIT as well as pursuing a relationship with God while at college.

BIBLE STUDY/LIFE GROUP

Thursday, April 11th, 7:00pm - 8:15pm, PDR 1 & 2, Third floor, Student Center

Come experience a Cru life group. These are our small group Bible studies. They meet in various dorms and other places on campus throughout the year. Meet some new friends and eat snacks as we study the book of Daniel.

Best Breakfast on Campus!

Saturday, April 13th, 9am - 11am, Lobdell Dining Room, 2nd Floor, Student Center

Come enjoy the best breakfast on campus. Piles of pancakes with all the good toppings, along with eggs, sausage, fruit, and more! Learn about Cru, talk to students about life at MIT, or just come for FREE breakfast anytime between 9 and 11.

Come stop by the Cru table at the Activities Midway. Grab some free swag and introduce yourself.  

 

Boba, Lofi, and Theology

Saturday, April 13th, 3:30-5pm, PDR 1 & 2, Third Floor, Student Center

Come chill with Cru students, ask questions about MIT and Christianity, and enjoy some boba and Christian lofi! This is just a casual Q&A time--pop in and out as you please!

Big Questions Discussion Group

Satruday evening, April 13th, 8-9pm, Location: PDR 3 - Third Floor, Student Center

Hop into our weekly meeting to discuss big questions of life from various religious/non-religious viewpoints. Ex: “What is love?” “How do we know what’s true?” “Why is there evil and suffering?” “How do I live a good life?” Veggies, hummus, & other refreshments served:) 

United Christian Worship Night

Saturday, April 13th, 8:30pm-9:30pm, Outside the MIT Chapel (cylinder brick building near the Student Center)

Join up with Christians from multiple Christian groups at MIT for a evening of worship and fellowship. If it’s raining or too cold we will move into the Student Center (Mezzanine Lounge, 3rd floor)

Sunday morning - 8-11am. There will be various times when we are leaving to visit different churches. We’ll have hot breakfast sandwiches to offer you as well! Here is a list of churches and leaving times.

Here are a couple we are highlighting:

Park Street Church: Leave at 8AM (visit one of the most historic churches in Boston. For over 200 years Park Street Church has been preaching the Gospel, teaching the Bible, not compromising the Christian message, serving the people of Boston, sending missionaries to the world and providing a church home for college students. You will take the T (subway) two stops into Boston. Be prepared to pay a small fee to ride the T. Credit card accepted. Paul from Cru will be leading group

Aletheia Church - Leave at 8:40am or 10:40 am, several studnets from Cru will be at each of these times to take people, you will be walking there (about a 15 minute walk)
